    USU Extension will be hosting a workshop on using drones or UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) in commercial vegetable and fruit production.

    The workshop will provide information on types of UAVs, federal rules and regulations and applications for UAVs in agriculture. Participants will analyze images using Microsoft Image Composite Editor and Image J. You are encouraged to bring their own laptop to the workshop so the software can be downloaded on it. Weather permitting a flight demonstration with different UAVs will take place after lunch.

    Lunch will be catered. Please, let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.

    Seats are limited to 15 attendees. Priority will be given to growers but if seats are still available, other industry representatives and county Extension faculty will be considered.
